Brush fire hits Tracy, CA as crews respond

A wind-driven vegetation fire, named the Midway Fire, started in Alameda County around 2:51 p.m. on Thursday near the intersection of Patterson Pass and Midway roads. Located between Livermore and Tracy, California, the fire had spread to 262 acres by late Thursday afternoon. Firefighting efforts have closed Interstate 580 in both directions between Patterson Pass Road and Interstate 205. LiveNOW's Austin Westfall is providing updates.
